We are able to provide a skipper and further crew for your sailing holiday so you can get on and get relaxing. We charter you a sailing yacht with a skipper who effectively 'drives' the boat for you around the Greek islands, Turkish coasts, Malta island, or Mediterranean sea, wherever you'd like to sail. You, your friends or your family can muck in as much or as little as you like - it is a great activity holiday for all the family. You can leave all totally up to the skipper to do all the work, and you can sit back and enjoy your sailing holiday.
Every night you will be in another port or bay, and during the day you can meander around the islands or just anchor in a bay or off a beach and use your yacht like an oversized diving platform. Skippers allow for non-sailors or sailors without qualifications to charter a yacht and experience what we sailors have been going on about for years. Being invariably local, the skippers are also able to advise you on ports to visit, restaurants to eat, places to swim and dive and then of course what locations to avoid.
In each location we can find for you professional, experienced and qualified skippers to sail your yacht for you. We suggest you sit with your skipper on the first night, open a bottle of your finest, get him to bring out maps of the area and go through your research and interests with him. Local knowledge goes a long- long way…
Do also be aware that you are responsible for the skipper’s food as well. This doesn’t mean wining and dining your skipper, but rather ensuring there is enough cereal, bread, and sausages to go around… The skipper also needs to have his own cabin, so please bear this in mind when organising your sailing holiday. Basically a skippered charter holiday, is like any other villa holiday. You should have a look at the different destinations and choose one you like the sound of. Selecting a sailing yacht is the same as selecting a villa (six people will need at least six berths (beds) and an extra berth (bed) for the skipper.
